GXPOL Macro regime intelligence

What you get

A desk, not a dashboard.

Six things, done properly, in one place. Everything is built to be interrogated — you can take any number apart until you reach the data underneath it.

  • 01

    The situation

The verdict, first. Which regime, whether it is deteriorating, and — critically — whether present-tense stress corroborates the reading or contradicts it. When those two diverge, the desk tells you so in plain language, because that divergence is the most valuable thing we can show you.

  • 02

    Where you are exposed

Risk decomposed to the level you actually trade: sector, then industry, then individual position. Each carries the model's own confidence — a wide band is the model telling you it does not know, which is information you are entitled to.

Bring your own book and it reads back as a single figure — how the regime bears on the holdings you actually have, not the index. Where we have no defensible view on a name, we say we have no view. We do not manufacture a ranking to fill the space.

  • 03

    The precedent

Today's conditions matched against two decades of history — by the shape of the stress, not the level of prices. The closest environments, how similar they are, and what happened next. History does not repeat, but it is a better argument than an opinion.

Each match shows why it was selected — which forces were the same, and where the past and the present part company. A case with the evidence attached, not a black box.

  • 04

    The positioning read

What the regime implies for allocation — in two books: standard, and fully Shariah-compliant. Each shift shows the reasoning that caused it, including what the model wanted to do and was prevented from doing, and why.

The compliant book is built as its own model, not a filtered version of the conventional one. It behaves differently in tightening liquidity, because it holds different things. More on that here.

  • 05

    The record

Every reading timestamped with the conditions that produced it, and never restated. When the committee asks what you knew and when, you have an answer with a date on it.

  • 06

    The stress test

Move the world and watch the read move with it. Push any force — a liquidity shock, a geopolitical spike — and the regime, the allocation and the exposure recompute in front of you, by the same published logic the live read uses. The question a committee always asks, answered before it is asked.

Coverage

Five economies. One framework.

The United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and France — read through the same lenses, so a cross-country comparison means something rather than stitching together four vendors' indices.

Where a country's data is thinner, we tell you. A degraded reading that admits what it is beats a confident one quietly substituting another country's data.
